Iphigeneia in Tauris ..... now in Chicago, Dec 10, 2011
Dear friends,
It is often said that drama is inherent to greek nature …
Open-air ancient theaters in Greece (Herodeion in Athens, Epidavros in Peloponnese, Dodoni in Epeiros, Philippoi in Macedonia) are every summer flooded by thousands of spectators, Greeks and visitors from all over the world, who want to experience again and again the unfolding of the dramatic, sometimes tragic sometimes funny, human condition. Much more for younger people and children, a performance of this kind is an event among the unique and unforgettable ones of their life.
The Federation of Hellenic – American Organizations of Illinois “Enosis” organizes the performance of “Iphigeneia in Tauris” by Euripides on Saturday, December 10, at 7.00 p.m.
The place is St Martha’s Church, 8535 N.Georgiana, Morton Grove, IL 60053.
