PanHellenic Scholarship Fund in $250,000 Drive for 2009
This year more students will be selected based on financial need!
Scholarship Drive 2009
Despite the current financial crisis, the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation set a goal to repeat last year's funds distribution and award $250,000 to twenty-five deserving students. "...and this year, our goal is to put emphasis on more students with financial need than ever before. We believe that by helping students financially, the Foundation provides our youth a platform for significant accomplishments over the course of their lives," said the Chairman of the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation, Chris P. Tomaras.
Grant Awards
The PanHellenic Scholarship Awards of $10,000 each are offered to recognize students of high scholastic achievement and to provide support to those in financial need. The awards are available to U.S. high school graduates and college students of Hellenic descent.
Scholarship Application 2009
The Foundation's application 2009 is now available. If you know of a gifted Greek-American for whom one of our scholarships would be of meaningful value please let them know of this offer. You will be helping them reach their potential, while the Greek-American Community will be reflecting their successes. Interested candidates are invited to visit our website for more details and to download an application form.
Every Donation Helps
The Foundation continues to offer potential donors the opportunity to donate a Scholarship bearing a name of their own choice and present it at the Foundation's awards ceremony. "Our $10,000 named scholarships is a unique opportunity to be offered in memory of a parent or loved one or create additional awareness and goodwill for one's business. Of course, any size donation is appreciated and will be duly recognized. With the special benefits that are included and the donation being tax deductible, every contribution is a meaningful deed," said Mr. Tomaras. Payments can be made online or mailed to our office.
