Academy Stavros Niarchos Foundation Fellowship
The Academy Stavros Niarchos Foundation Fellowship at the Chatham House Academy for Leadership in International Affairs is designed to allow young promising leaders from Greece and the Greek diaspora an opportunity to advance their knowledge, develop research skills and build links with the policy, academic and other communities in the UK and the wider EU.
The fellowship will offer the chance to further develop an understanding of, and approaches to, addressing the political, economic and social issues facing Europe and the world. Candidates can be drawn from sectors ranging from academia to NGOs, business, government or the media. Fellows will be based at Chatham House in London, one of the world’s leading international affairs institutes. The fellowship will begin in February 2015 and will last six months.

Research Topics
There are two research themes for the 2015 Academy Stavros Niarchos Foundation Fellowships.
The parameters for the research themes have been designed in broad terms to allow applicants to devise a project that appeals to their own research interests.
Applicants may propose a research project that fits within any of the topics outlined below.
Topic 1: Political and Economic Divergence in the European Union (hosted by the Europe Programme)
Topic 2: The Impact of the Financial Crisis on the Greek Healthcare System (hosted by the Centre on Global Health Security)
